About the instructor
Hi! My name is Daniel Space and I’ve been in HR for almost 2 decades. I started in American Express and have worked for great companies in a variety of industries such as The Children’s Place, PWC, WebMD, EA Games and Spotify. Most of my experience has been in the HR Business Partner function. We are the ones who design and manage a talent strategy for organizations, and as such we have a lot of really great information on how companies hire, train, pay and retain their employees. Most of my classes are designed to helping people understand the different facets and details on job searching. I invite you to add me on LinkedIn, but also feel free to check out my Twitter, Instagram and TikTok accounts for more free content! (DanFromHR)

Better Understanding
I learned more than I thought I would in this course. I am entering the workforce again after being self-employed for a few years. Recommended to complete
Learn to Unlock Your Compensation
I found the course to be very informative for those in the high profile positions. However, I am more interested in the lower income individuals who only make $10.00 to $12.00 an hour for large companies; when employees quit and those left are having to do the job of 2 to 3 employees, along with opening and closing without an increase. The starting off salary itself is too low.
I learned a lot
I am always trying to be better.
Organized and Informative
I’ve worked in people management in the government/nonprofit sector for about 7 years but I am not in a formal HR role. I found Daniel’s content in this course to be organized, clearly communicated, and informative . Some of the content validated my preexisting insights, but the level of detail really added clarity to HR considerations, processes, and systems related to compensation, particularly in the private sector.
Result in reality
I used the information from this course to negotiate a raise with compensation package from my current employer.
