Many individuals encounter difficulties when learning technical subjects like programming, data science, cybersecurity, blockchain, etc. Traditional note-taking methods can prove overwhelming, and while there are numerous note-taking applications available, my experience as a mentor for over 14 years has shown that many students struggle with effective note-taking techniques. There exist various approaches, such as the Cornell Method, Zettelkasten Method, and Mind Mapping, among others. Choosing the right method and understanding how to study from these notes can be challenging, especially when comparing note-taking from video lectures to note-taking while reading a book.

After experimenting with applications like OneNote, Evernote, and Notion, I personally selected Obsidian. In this course, I will explain why I made this choice and why you should consider it as well. Throughout the course, I will guide you through the fundamental aspects of Obsidian, ensuring you grasp the essentials of this remarkable software. Enjoy the course, and I look forward to seeing you inside!
