Welcome to the Easy Watercolor Flower Painting Course!

Loose painting is an enjoyable approach to creating fresh and spontaneous artworks. It enables you to grasp the fundamentals of color, form, and tone in watercolor painting. Throughout this course, you will learn to sketch and paint six beautiful flower arrangements in an easy and fresh style.

This course is designed for beginners, and I will provide step-by-step guidance through six demonstrations. You will also find scans, drawings, and tracing templates for each demonstration, facilitating quick and easy transfer of your sketches. You can follow along with real-time drawing and narration videos for all these demonstrations.

During the course, I will explain each technique I use while painting, including how to use watercolors for painting flower petals. I’ll also discuss color choices, pigment strength, and specific mixing techniques. With just a pencil, some watercolor paints, and paper, you’re all set to begin.

Project Description:

Your course project entails drawing and painting your own flower arrangement! You can choose a scene featured in one of the course demonstration videos or use one of your own photographs or observed outdoor scenes.

While tracing templates are provided under the ‘Materials Required’ lecture, I encourage you to try drawing each arrangement free-hand. Drawing plays a crucial role in improving your painting skills, offering the opportunity to compose and plan your artwork. After completing the drawing, follow the watercolor steps and processes demonstrated in the course to finish your painting.
