Comprehensive and well researched
This course is definitely relevant if you’re working in any capacity with children, ie. nursing, social work, youth worker, child support worker, etc. and also if you’re working within both the private or public sectors. The material is up to date and the modules are a good length; you would be able to complete this course within a couple of months or even shorter if already working in this human services sector and come from a social services/health background.
The instructor is motivated and maintains the attention of the student. Reviews are posted at end of each module section for added notes. I would not hesitate in highly recommending this course as a foundational course or even as a refresher for those in already established careers, but for those just starting out in the human services/health career, this is a great launching course which will lay a solide foundation towards a great career or further study.

Hands down one of the best crash courses on child psychology I’ve taken to date. Covers psychological theories from Freud to B.F Skinner, developmental cycles, and even touches a bit on grief and bereavement. PDF resources are available as well, which I found helpful for notes. I feel more confident now when working with children.
