Greg Hung
Hi! I was born in South Africa but as a child, my family relocated to Canada and lived most of adult life in beautiful British Columbia. I remember getting a VHS camcorder and would make and direct my own home videos with my sisters. I attended Simon Fraser University (SFU) with a Communications degree and had another opportunity to film an educational hip-hop video for earthquakes. After I graduated university I went on to have a successful IT career working 13 years in the field. As an IT manager, I went on to pursue my MBA at SFU and found inspiration to start my own business and travel and film. By the time I had completed my MBA in 2011 I had found my passion travel, business, and filming.
During a wild and intense 3-year period I sold my house, purchased a camera and traveled the globe with my camera in search of adventure. I traveled to places such as Beijing, Singapore, Shanghai, The Grand Canyon, and Turks and Caicos. During this period a new revolution with the SLR camera was allowing people to create a cinema-quality videos. I spent countless hours trying to learn everything I could from the best to hone my craft. I currently have over 100 videos on YouTube and have one of the strongest travel video collections on the Internet.
After returning to Vancouver, I planned my next travel adventure to Australia, Asia, and Taiwan. I sold my car and all my possessions and arrived in Taiwan with my essentials, camera gear, and my dreams. I currently live in Taiwan learning mandarin, teaching English, and filming travel videos.
I believe I’m a continuous learner (currently learning Mandarin) and I’m always looking for new and interesting ways to learn things. I get upset when an article gives advice or directions and it is so general it leaves out the important details. I try to provide detailed step-by-step instructions using visuals or video. I hope you find my courses interesting and I’ll see you in there!

Great Introduction
This was a great intro course
A Review: Beginner Aerial Videography
I’m not sure what I was expecting with this course. I have to say the more novice you are the more beneficial will be the content of this course, but with that said, I must say that I did learn some. Perhaps what has become most valuable for me was learning how beneficial the use of the “Fight Simulator” (fs) was to practice not only flight but also the setup and execution of the “Intelligent Modes” available with my Phantom 4. My time to access the numerous menu options in the DJI4 app has dramatically improved. This newly acquired time savings has improved my efficiency and confidence but more importantly has resulted in a marked increase in the battery time of both my Remote Control and Drone. Is it worth the price? Yes, for a true beginner. Some of the video where certain procedures are demonstrated were blocked by the instructors hands, body, or not shown at all. Those issues could be improved. All in all there is good advice in this course for the beginner. It is worth the cost too.
Good stuff
Easy to follow along and very good for beginners.
