Ableton live 10 part two: Recording and Warping
This part of the course had some great things to add to the first section. I learnt about automation, warping, transposing clips, and the midi recording/creating was very helpful in knowing how to input things quickly.
The explanation/reminders of Virtual Instruments (VI) being needed to create the sound of a midi instrument is helpful, I was hoping for a bit more depth on midi controllers but I expect this will come later in the series. I also wonder if there will be more information on editing audio clips to make them as malleable as midi’s.
Amazing information!
Great course!
So!, Jason Allen!, that’s the name of the guy teaching here. I didn’t know him beforehand but he’s cool and the simplicity with which he shows and explains every new concept and tricks and whatnot is well worth giving this course a go. I’m happy so far with it and looking forward to the next class!
